scenario 1 :
tengah ward round pt kat acute cubicle, encounter a pt..old lady..very2 old i must say
tepi katil ade la 2 orang anak dia, muda2 dan nmpak dah bekerjaya (dpd style die laa)..
emm, mak dia tu dah terbaring, siap ada bed sore BESAR n MULTIPLE..all tendon n muscle sume dah exposed..lebih kurang mcm bedsore type IV.she looked very undernutritioned n wasted. overall hygiene is not satisfying.
spine dah ada fixed cervicothoraco kyphosis okay..sebab dah laama terbaring dalam 1 posisi yang same kat rumah..huhu..datang sebab infected bed sore, n masok la acute cube coz BP x stable. specialist round time tu da mcm nak bengang ngn anak2 dia coz x jaga their mom betol2 smpai jadi mcm tu..obviously obvious the lady was ignored for a long time. that reason for admission already told who's fault it is n no argument needed here. lama2, specialist kitorang tarik a deep breath n he said. okay let settle this 1 by 1. after orthopaedics issues, then to medical issues, then to social issues. even thou they speak in chinese but i could understand that he is trying to advice the children to have some humanity, to give more concern about their OWN mom who taken care of them until they are what they are now.. so sad.. hope the children can change slowly.. we move to see the next pt. but that nite while doing my call, my nurse called me to check the CVP position coz she afraid the line might be leaking sumwhere. ohh, look. that contracted upper limbs already made the running NS for the CVP leaking at the insertion point. i adjusted the hand and told the child to keep the hand in partially extended position. but yet, they ask their bibik to hold it n after some "bising2", they went home straightly. pehhh...buat penat jer my specialist bg nasihat pagi td..haihh.


scenario 2 :
an old lady smile n looked very happy when the round come to her daughter's bed. with the surah yassin at her wrinkled hand, she wiped off her daughter's saliva, umur about 50's like that..pt ni ade previous history of ICB which is SDH and had done decompression craniotomy at HSAJB. kat sane je ade neurosurgical.. now also come with infected bed sore, and it is type II. but the pt looked well, hygine good, xde contracture, lungs clear n other bed ridden complication xde sangat kecuali bedsore tu n we dun expect that her old mother can turn her every 2 hour at home..so after my specialist gave the teaching, he made some take home message..n it is out of the medical thingy..

" a mother can take care of 10 children, but even more than 10 children are not guaranteed to take care of a mother "

that quote is no more a quote but i really saw it with my eyes now.

supaya saving masa depan terjamin..heee

hari ni kerja rase hepi
sebab ramai plak pt yg ucap terima kasih lepas sy buat procedures
selalunya lepas buat, dorang blah je..sambil senyum2..
maybe tu kot tanda ucap thanks..ntah la
tp bukan harap sgt pon, juz bila pt say thanks
rasa semangat je nak tolong diorang lg
haaa..nmpak macam small matter kan greetings ni
tp tu lah effect dia bole turn up a person's mood for that day ! ^_^
so moralnya, ringan2kan lah muka senyum dan appreciate peoples around u ;)

n diorang jugak tunjuk kat muor ni, mane lg letaknye kedai makan melayu
mane movie (hahaha..ade okay, tp kecik cket laa)
n mcm2 tempat lg la
maklumla sy ni nak dara dok kat hostel je
mane nak reti hangout2 ni...(ahh kau iye2 je)

raya dan kerja

salam..;))
selamat hari raya aidilfitri semua ye..hee ;p
sy da balek muor da..raya ke 3 da kena kerja
da start system shift yg pelik ni..huhu
sy kena kerja shift malam yesterday, yang bermaksud dari 0700-0000
kalau waktu pejabat, dari 0700-1700
n if kena AM, post, mcm oncall la lebeh kurang, dari 0700-1700 n come back again to hosp that nite at 0000 till 1700 next day tu..
waktu overlapping untuk pass over (sigh) ialah 2300-0000 and petang.

macam semalam, even thou sy boleh balek kol 12tgh mlm, tapi dan2 la bile my fren datang, ade pt admitted (new cases) melambak2 n complicated gila2
tgh2 malam kena pasang CVP, CBD, ryle's tube, blood ix berjela2, cardiac monitoring, insulin sliding scale to watch out for impending DKA..what the...
hmm, istigfar banyak2 je sy malam td
bukan apa, bila badan da letih gila, otak pon da jem, muka pon xmo senyum
(sy da start pakai mask, sbb takde la pt salah erti muka masam da malam2, hahaha)
alhamdulillah sy balek jugak pukul 330am last nite
pehhh balek2 teros mandi n tito..nasib da solat kat ward td..
betolla mmg da after raya, semua sepsis bagai, GM tinggi gila, sume nak admitted
ni gara2 makan xmo control la ni..i cubit sume pt2 i baru tau..hohohho

plannye next day nak g beraya kat rumah member
tapi da flat gile badan
so sy melepak kat hostel je la, kemas2 rumah n bermalas2an hehe
tengok balek pic2 time raya baru ni
happy je hati..nak tergelak pon ade..semua kazen2 jenis gila camera (n gila2 as well)
tapi rasa malas la kannn nak hapload2 ni..
biorla blog ni terbentang dengan tulisan2 sy je, hahaha

nak p shopping jap la kat town
xbest la jalan sensorang, member sume keje
da cutinya x sama2..(sigh again)
